Bobby Rojas
Painting is my passion. It opened me to inquire both on reality and history. Constant reading expanded my ideas further, to produce artwork that combined mixed ideas and concepts, surrealistic aesthetic, partial impressionistic brushstrokes, and symbolism. A couple of my paintings are part of a series broadly focused on Integrated Modern Propaganda. Mixtures of insects and celestial nebulous clouds are broad metaphors illustrating propaganda's need to link the obscure with nostalgia and its connection to a mass of individuals. My other series focuses on the broad concept of linking unnecessary stress with certain elements of horror poster art from the 30's through 50's.

Patricia Meccia
Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Loyola Marymount University, 1985
Born and raised in the South Bay.
specializing in commemorative pieces and golf related paintings.
Media: water color on paper, acrylic on canvas
Works available as giclee prints on canvas and paper.

Influences on approach to golf paintings: William Turner, Francisco de Zurburan, Vincent Van Gogh

I enjoy combining classic and contemporary approaches to the subject, composition and paint application. My large acrylics are bold, handsome pieces that capture motion and a specific moment in time, as influenced by some of the Baroque masters. The palette and paint application are more contemporary with use of impasto and unexpected colors. My water colors also convey movement and energy. They display a range of colors that give a traditional subject interest.

These works are ideal for decorating both home and office. I take commissions for personal and professional gifts and decorating. I also offer water color golf portraits and country club paintings, which are used as tournament prizes and tributes and thoroughly enjoy providing art work for my clients' specific needs.

In addition to my golf paintings, I receive commissions for landscapes and other subjects. A three paneled panoramic view from downtown Los Angeles to the Hollywood Hills to the coast was created for the lobby of the Truman and Elliott Law Firm on Wilshire. I also have painted personal subjects, as seen in my custom themed portraits. These are sepia toned water colors that tell a story. They are often about a person's life, family or the history of an organization. These can be seen on my other web site: lightsofyourlife.com and present beautifully as gifts and tributes.

Tiffany Ford
Tiffany Ford is an artist and college student currently residing in Los Angeles, CA. She is intensely fascinated by graffiti, the diversity of life in Los Angeles, and overall urban living. Her art is influenced by life in L.A. and stretches to meet the cultures that live within it, such as those found in China Town, Venice, and the suburban areas of the valley.

Always tardy to the party, Tiffany spends much of her time watching reality shows knowing they'll never contribute to society's advancement and is perfectly fine with the deterioration of the body through fast food and mystery meat consumption. She also enjoys long walks on the beach and deep conversations about books and classical music and theater. She owns a BurgerKing club card.
