We are delighted to announce our new series of winemaking dinners presented in partnership with the Four Seasons Hotel, Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. All of these events will focus on the world-class cuisine of Executive Chef Conny Andersson matched with the outstanding wines and notable guests of world-class wineries, each with a unique and inviting twist.

In addition to the Hotel's having the finest banquet facilities in the Los Angeles area, their Gardens Restaurant is acclaimed for its elegance in both dining and atmosphere. So, for our first exciting dinner, we cordially invite you to join us in the lovely Gardens Restaurant on Tuesday, January 30, 2001. Chef Andersson has designed a tempting and intriguing menu consisting of some of his favorite dishes, which will be complemented beautifully by the superlative wines of Far Niente, Nickel & Nickel and Dolce. Add the extra-special touch of our charming guest, Far Niente Partner and Winemaker Dirk Hampson, and we have created one magnificent evening!

Far Niente (meaning "Without a Care") was purchased in 1979 by Gil Nickel, who meticulously restored the original 1885 stone winery and grounds into one of Napa Valley's most beautiful, creative, state-of-the-art wineries producing world-class Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is now a three-way partnership between Gil & Beth Nickel, Managing Director Larry Maguire and Winemaker Dirk Hampson. In 1985, following the success of Far Niente, Gil, Larry and Dirk created Dolce to produce their world-class dessert wine, which has been favorably compared to the famed Château d'Yquem. The partners' latest creation is the Nickel & Nickel Winery, which specializes in only single-vineyard wines, each with a distinctive character associated with its unique location. Our wines this evening will include stellar selections from all three of these properties.

The cost for this Four Seasons Hotel - Duke of Bourbon Wine Dinner" is $110.00 per person. Since space is extremely limited for this event, only two reservations per Wine Association membership can be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please respond promptly. Full payment must accompany your reservation. No tickets are issued; you will be notified if your reservation cannot be accepted. Cancellation deadline for full refund is January 27.
