The FUTURE is now!! It is our pleasure to invite you to join us on Thursday, March 8, 2001, for a most SPECIAL FUTURES SEMINAR featuring our incomparable group of friends and the outstanding wines they produce UNDER ONE ROOF at the famous Au Bon Climat/Qupé Winery in the beautiful Santa Maria Valley. We are extremely fortunate not only to have access to their wonderful wines, but to be able to present them to you to taste before making your purchases.

The talented winemakers joining us include JIM CLENDENEN of AU BON CLIMAT and ICI/LA-BAS; FRANK OSTINI & GRAY HARTLEY of HITCHING POST, and JIM ADELMAN of MAKOR. BOB LINDQUIST of QUPÉ is unable to attend, but his excellent wines will be presented by Jim Adelman, who is the general manager for Qupé and Au Bon Climat. Also joining us will be ARCHIE MC LAREN, Executive Director of the KCBX Central Coast Wine Classic; Archie will provide pertinent information about the popular Wine Classic scheduled for the second week in July.

The 1999 vintage at the Au Bon Climat/Qupé Winery was extremely cool and late and resulted in wines of great intensity, with many of the wines showing to be even better than their superb 1998 predecessors. We recently visited the winery to taste most of these world-class wines and can assure you of their excellence. Here is your opportunity to judge for yourself as we showcase an outstanding selection from our "roof" denizens to be offered on "future." Yes, all of the wines shown this evening will be available at special "futures" prices, along with the very rare Au Bon Climat 1999 Pinot Noir "Isabelle" and the exciting Au Bon Climat 1999 Pinot Noir "Knox Alexander," which we tasted at our "Super Seminar" in November.

As an additional taste treat, Frank Ostini will bring us some delicious grilled tidbits from his famous Hitching Post restaurant in Buellton.

The cost for this seminar is only $29.00 each for the member and guests. We encourage you to invite guests to this special event and there is no additional fee for non-members!
