Faithful readers of our emails will recognize the name Tom Shelton, President and CEO of Joseph Phelps Vineyards. (Now you can recognize the face 'cause that's him pictured.) Tom has been a special guest at our seminars on numerous occasions and a friend and supporter of the Duke for many years. He is this year's honoree as Maestro of Food and Wine for the New West Symphony of Wine.We are excited because Tom is going to visit the Duke of Bourbon on Saturday, June 25, 2005. He will be here from 11:00AM till 2:00PM to talk wine, sign bottles and rub elbows with all you lovers of Joseph Phelps wines. Joe Phelps himself has given Tom credit, along with winemaker Craig Williams, for "a dynamic renaissance of the Joseph Phelps brand." The Duke will have some special pricing on Joseph Phelps wines in honor of Tom's visit. If you can't make it to the store, give us a call! You won't be sorry. P. S.
