This is going to be a good news/bad news kind of email. Bad news: The
Innisfree 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon by Joseph Phelps Vineyards is nearly sold out. Good news: The
Innisfree 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon will be available in the next few weeks. Bad news: We have been forewarned that the new vintage will have a price increase.
Innisfree Cabernet Sauvignon is a special bottling by Phelps for a carefully selected group of retailers across the country. Made to be approachable, the wine is selected from the highest quality lots of juice that were not used in Phelps' fabled Insignia. The '05 vintage is Cabernet Sauvignon blended with about 10% Merlot. The wine is forward and boasts aromas and flavors of mulled spices, red fruit, coffee and cedar, with a long, concentrated finish that lingers on the palate. We have read blogs with consumer notes such as: "imo, Innisfree is the best cab value on the market" and ". . . a major thumbs-up to Innisfree"! We heartily agree!!
Now the great news: We are holding the line on pricing on the last handful of cases of '05 Innisfree left in the store. While our supply lasts, Innisfree (list price $25.00) is still on sale at a low, low $19.99 per bottle
. Buy it by the 6-pack (or more!) and save an additional $2.00 per bottle - your final price is $17.99 each.
This super deal is limited to the supply in the store.
