ChiChi Peralto's stunning solo debut re-released!

Due to his recent international sales success and popularity, Miami-based Caiman Records has decided to re-release ChiChi Peralta's album, "Pa' Orto La'o," an album they describe as "Caribbean music with a twist," to the World Music community at large.

ChiChi was born under a full moon on the night of July 9th, 1966 in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional, the capitol of the Dominican Republic, and built his first percussion, the tambora, at the age of four. "The desire to compose is a desire to be understood by people and also a way to project the colors of the soul: love, sadness, happiness - all composers share that sentiment, including José, Duluc, Onias Peralta and Victor del Villar, all who are constantly aiming to be on the other side, Pa' Otro La'o."

"Pa'Otro La'o" is a surprise box of magic, light and sound; full of great ideas, concepts and discoveries such as the first single, "Amor Narcotica," a polyrhythmic song which tells the story of a hypnotizing love. This track was arranged by ChiChi Peralta and includes the participation of the London Symphony Orchestra.
