The New Kid on the Block

Carnival Cigar Company began its entry into cigar business approximately one year ago. When we investigated the market, we represented several cigar lines. During that time, we decided to manufacture our own label and brand with the quality and pride we have in manufacturing our apparel lines for many years. The background of the principals in Carnival stems from manufacturing apparel. My associates and I have traveled Central America and the Caribbean basin for over thirty years manufacturing and assembling apparel off shore. In the apparel business we are very familiar with customs and the mores of these countries. We then decided to manufacture our own brands with the same pride and quality in the country of Nicaragua in the Jalapa Valley where it is known for the worlds finest tobacco. Our company, Carnival Cigar Co., is vertically integrated which allows us to control our product from the plantation to the wrapping of the boxes, with the consistency of a quality smoke over and over. It also allows us to be competitive in price without sacrificing the quality and taste and being able to deliver on time a full package. There are so many companies out there today who have cigars but no boxes. This is just one example of what is going on in this industry. Being vertical allows us not to have these problems.

Carnival is a young company, ("The new kid on the block"), like many others, out in the market today, however what sets us apart and gives us an advantage is the principals and our staff have been involved in production, marketing and sales for over 30 years. Our company and its distributors have credibility and years of experience in serving satisfied customers. We have shelf space. Our reputation for delivering a quality product on time comes with years of experience. This allows us an edge over most new companies. The growth of Carnival can only continue without product line continuing to improve the quality it has and to keep improving our product and hopefully manufacture the best cigar on the market. It is not receiving the first order that counts, it is the reorders that allows a company to grow. We presently have our own sales staff covering all of the U.S., Canada, Asia and parts of Europe. We are confident our product will not only remain on the market but will be requested equally as much as the older brands are.
