Thank You hope you don't mind that the cigars you sent from Nick's Cigar World ended up with a Marine officer. I'll share them with my Sergeant Major and a deserving Staff NCO. They are certainly appreciated. Thank you for your support. Semper Fi, LtCol 'Rat' |
Nick - my name is LTC Steve and I am the Battalion Commander We are stationed in Balad Iraq and have been here 5 months. I was talking to some guys I work with and they showed me the package of cigars you sent them and gave me your e mail. Anyway - we have quite a few Cigar coinsures here and was wondering if you could possible send us a sample package similar to the one you sent him. Anything you send will be appreciated and immediately smoked and enjoyed by all. LTC Steven Thanks again...but more so thanks for your support of our soldiers... |
Nicks Cigar World, Greetings from Afghanistan! I thought I would write to you on behalf of all the cigar aficionados we have in our unit. I was in your store shortly before deploying this spring, and I noticed a display about sending cigars to the troops. Well, if you have a few to spare we would love to sample some for you. We are definitely not picky or choosy; we just enjoy our cigars. Thanks for what you're doing for our troops. God bless and have a great week. CH (CPT) Matthew |
Thanks !!!! Nick, Just received your care package two days ago. Thanks a million for the fine cigars, cutters, and matches!!! You blew us away!!! All of us really appreciate your amazing thoughtfulness. Please thank SFC Rea & wife, and Barb for their wonderful generosity as well. Attached are photos we took just this morning, out on the balcony of Al Faw Palace, Pretty sweet enjoying smokes in one of Saddam's former palaces, though we'd all much rather be back home in the States! God bless, Take care, Major DAVID |
Thank You ! Nick, Hi my name is Brian I am the Command Sergeant Major , currently serving in Iraq. I am writing to say "thank you" for the quality cigars that you have sent to us through "Rocky", he shares them all. I cannot tell you how big of a morale booster it was for the many cigar smokers that we have in my headquarters. I may be reassigned to SC in the near future. I look forward to meeting you and shaking your hand. Again, thank you so much for taking care of us over here, CSM Brian |
Hey Ya'll, I was in your NMB shop last year and bought some specials to send to buddies back in Afghanistan. I put a few in the box for the troops and told the lady we would be going back and she said to send our address when we got in country. Semper Fidelis, My guys (and gals) wanted you to know how much they appreciate the great cigars you sent. When I opened the box I almost s--t myself! What a surprise. There's nothing like ending a long patrol on the salt with a good cigar! It's getting a little warm here so we smoke'em at night now. Just wanted you to know that we are safe and all doing fine here, (there are worse places to be). R T |
Hey Everybody, I hope this email finds you in good health and spirits. I'm doing well here in my second year in Iraq. I have attached a picture you might like of me at my fire staion. I all ways have a little bit of South Carlina with me. Take care, Michael |
Hi Ya'll, I stopped by for a cigar after a tour in Afghanistan, and said something about the lack of good smokes over there; you showed me the cigars for troops box and I bought a few Nic's specials and dropped them in the box. Well, it's our turn again, and it would be great if you could put my unit on the list. I can't say where or when but will send you our address after we arrive. You guys are doing a real service for the military, you can't imagine how good it feels to just kick back and light up after a long day. You forget your sore feet and aching back and for a while it's kind of like being back home in the lazy boy. R/ET1Robert |

My name is LT Jeffrey, I'm currently assigned to Balad, Iraq, for Operation Iraqi Freedom. My good friend brought me to your store I was immediately impressed, mainly due to your low prices and huge selection of products. I'm writing today to see weather Nicks Cigar World is willing to send a care package in order to set up a cigar club. The interest in establishing a club is overwhelming. We have NO direct access to cigars locally; therefore our reliance is from CONUS companies only. I as well as my fellow soldiers are anxious to set up our club and enjoy quality cigars from your stock. My father recently returned from a golf trip to Myrtle Beach and informed me you had a drop box in your store. All soldiers and military personnel abroad need the continued support our people back home, thank you for your continued support! 2LT Jeffrey |
